Hello Everyone,

I am looking for an offline particle tracking model that can be used on the NetCDF output files of AEM3D. I know that AEM3D has this capability that can simulate Drifter or Lagrangian particles but I am looking for a standalone software or package to use with my already exist output from AEM3D. Something similar to ARIANE http://stockage.univ-brest.fr/~grima/Ariane/

but I am not sure whether I can use ARIANE with the AEM3D output or not?

Any suggestion and comments would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mohammad

Hello all,

Would you please let me know your answers or suggestions? I tried with AEM3D with 500 particles that released to the lake every 20 time-steps. It was not the best way of doing that because of increasing the simulation running time. I would like to use an offline particle tracking model.

Thanks,

Mohammad
