Hi Chris,

are the following command appropriate for Nitrogen Fixation for Cyanobacteria?

2.00   nitrogen_min_internal (Manual) Or closer to 0 to not stop growth under low internal Nitrogen?

4.00   nitrogen_max_internal

0.75   nitrogen_max_uptake_rate

0.045  N_growth_half_saturation

0.00   N_growth_uptake_min_conc

true  n_fixer                                # enable N-fixation

2.0 max_nitrogen_fixation_rate             # mg N / mg Chl a / day (manual)

1.0 max_nitrogen_fixation_growth_reduction  (Manual)  # Or 0.5 for 50% growth penalty when fixing N? to be more realistic?

I would really appreciate any thought on this.

Thank you,

Hamed
