Horizontal variation in the initial conditions

Hi Chris,
I used a horizontal initial file to set horizontal varying chlorophyll-a but I don“t know how these data are interpoled in vertical layers? Is the interpolation performed by IC_DIST_WEIGHTING=2.0?

Hi Diana,
Horizontal initial condition files are applied uniformly in the vertical. IC_DIST_WEIGHTING is for interpolation of multiple profile initial condition files
