I am able to view any of the parameters I specify in the datablock.xml file in HydroHubLite (using curtain, or profiles or sheets), EXCEPT temperature.

In the datablock.xml file, I have specified ‘Temperature’ as a global variables. I have also tried specifying temperature as a variable for specific profiles (with and without it set as a global variable). However, HydroHubLite does not display temperature as output option. I don’t have issues with any other variable.

Example:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<AEM3DOutput>

  <GlobalTime>

    <interval>1</interval>

  </GlobalTime>

  <globalVariable>TEMPERATURE</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>U_VELOCITY</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>V_VELOCITY</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>DO</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>CHLOR</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>CYANO</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>CYANO_rho</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>CYANO_temperature_growth</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>CYANO_growth_rate</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>TCHLA</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>NO3</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>NH4</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>PO4</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>TN</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>TP</globalVariable>

  <globalVariable>PAR</globalVariable>

<Profile>

<filename>MISSI_out_prfIN.nc</filename>

<location>87,13</location>

<location>88,13</location>

<location>87,12</location>

<location>88,12</location>

<Time>

<start>0</start>

<end>0</end>

<interval>1</interval>

</Time>

</Profile>

</AEM3DOutput>

That looks like it should work.  Do you get any warning messages when running the model?

Does the Round Lake test case work OK?

I don't get any warning messages related to saving the model output (just some about 'TS Point not wet', 'new cell(s) filled with default values', and 'DIssolved Oxygen limit of 25mg/l violated', which might have something to do with the default value message?).

I was able to get temperature to save when I changed it from all capitals to just the first letter capitalized. Is the datablock.xml file case sensitive? I don't think I changed anything else.

Example:
 <globalVariable>Temperature</globalVariable>

I will check the Round Lake test case under both scenarios and see what works there.

TS Point not wet means the i,j and depth of your time series file (eg ts_surface_middle.dat) location is not a wet cell.

Large DO is usually dut to excessive phyto growth

Datablock.xml is not case sensitive
