Hi,

How the Chlorophyll changes due to hydrodynamics is calculated?

Regards?

This is the concentration at the start of the WQ timestep - the concentration at the end of the previous WQ timestep.

It accounts for all hydrodynamic processes.  Notably mixing and transport

How can I get the details? I want to know which factor is more important and how they are calculated.

It's not possible to separate out the two components, the Timeseries output files are part of the WQ code.

Hi again,

We know that the variation of alge at each time step is calculated as:
dA/dt= [Growth+Settling-respiration].A

How the changes due to hydrodynamics is considered in dA/dt?

In the WQ section of a timestep

dA/dt= [Growth+Settling-respiration-excretion-mortality].A

In the hydrodynamics section of a timestep

dA/dt = mixing + advection + diffusion

The 2 components summed is the total change in a timestep

Thanks for replying. I just want to know the change due to hydrodynamics, to see the effect of inflows. Is it possible to output mixing ,advection and diffusion?

As I said above these components cant be separated in the ts files

Sorry for bothering you. I can not find the keyword to include  mixing and advection and diffusion in datablock. Also  they are nut presented in Hydrodynamics. ITS outputs.

Sorry, there is no way to currently output the changes to individual scalars due to mixing or advection
