Hi - I have a couple of questions about modelling bubblers:

1. AIRFLOW - in the ELCOM science manual, it says to use the airflow rate (m3/s) at the level of the diffuser not the free-air flow rate of the compressor. Is that the same in AEM3D? (i.e., I should allow for adiabatic compression).

2. If my bubbler extends over several model grid cells, can I specify this in the boundary condition file as per other boundary conditions? And if so, are AIRFLOW and N_PORTS the total for the aerator (not per cell)?

Kind regards

David

Hi David,

1) Yes airflow is still at the level of the diffuser

2) This is correct, AIRFLOW and N_PORTS the total for the aerator
