Hi,

I am trying to set up AEM3D for a domain with two different habitats: open water and flooded forest. The User Manual (section 7.7.5) mentioned that AEM3D has the ability to implement horizontally varying meteorological forcing but no details about how to do so was documented. For my simulation, I need to have reduced radiation fluxes and reduced wind speed in flooded forest as compared to open water. Has anyone done this before? I will greatly appreciate that if some experience can be shared.

Thanks

Hi Wencai, for this case I would recommend using the section_top bc type
