Hi,Chris

I'm Rina Oe.

I am currently calculating the DO balance in a lake.
I am using DO_ITS_WC.csv to do the calculation, but

[1] Are the values such as Hydrodynamics Average and Sediment Flux Average the amount of change from the previous step?

[2] Why is there no column for oxygen consumption by phytoplankton respiration in the DO consumption?

If I want to calculate the oxygen consumption by respiration, should I use the phytoplankton decrease due to respiration written in CYANO_ITS_WC.csv.etc , Ycc and O2_ratio_C(32/12) to calculate it?

Best Regard

Rina

Hi Rina,

The values are the change within each particular routine.  So for example in the Sediment flux routine, the values are saved before the DO flux is calculated, and then after the flux is calculated the difference between the new and old values is written to the file.

There should be a Phyto Respiration column in the file.  What version of the code are you using?

Hi,Chris

Thank you for the reply.

The version I am using is 1.1.2, and auto build number is 586.
Does the latest version have a column for oxygen consumption by phytoplankton?

It is in the latest development download.
