Water Quality Modelling in Lake Burley Griffin

Posted on July 28, 2015

Hydronumerics has joined forces with the ACT Government to quantify the in-lake water quality benefits in Lake Burley Griffin under a range of catchment treatment works packages. Our team of engineers and scientists will apply the coupled hydrodynamic and water quality model ELCOM-CAEDYM to examine future water quality scenarios under a range of proposed scenarios, focusing on Blue Green Algae dynamics and in-lake amenity. Water Quality Improvement Options for Lake Tuggeranong (ACT)

Posted on June 15, 2015

Hydronumerics has joined forces with the ACT Government to examine water quality improvement options in Lake Tuggeranong. Under the project, Hydronumerics' Water Resource Engineer Chris O'Neill will look at various in-lake engineering and operational strategies to promote long-term aquatic health of this important resource. We will apply the coupled hydrodynamic and water quality model ELCOM-CAEDYM to examine future water quality scenarios under a range of in-lake and catchment options. For more information on our work in urban lake management, please contact Chris O'Neill
