SA Water ARMS Project
Posted on May 11, 2015
Hydronumerics has recently signed a contract with SA Water to upgrade their Aquatic Real-time Management System, ARMS. The decision support system will be configured to access additional data sources and to incorporate new ELCOM-CAEDYM reservoir models that SA Water staff have been developing. This upgrade will allow staff to easily access the water quality data and use it for ongoing calibration and validation of the existing real-time reservoir models.

Hydronumerics staff Chris Dallimore and Peter Yeates are coauthors of the recently published journal article 'Predictive modelling of pH and dissolved metal concentrations and speciation following mixing of acid drainage with river water' by Luke M. Mosley, Rob Daly, David Palmer, Peter Yeates, Chris Dallimore, Tapas Biswas and Stuart L. Simpson, published in Applied Geochemistry 59 (2015) 1–10. The paper is based on modelling of the River Murray in South Australia that Hydronumerics did in collaboration with the South Australian EPA and SAWater. We thank the lead authors Dr. Luke Mosley and Rob Daly for inviting us into the project and the other coauthors for their contribution to the work.
