In the old version of ELCOM, there are a few diagnostic ascii files automatically dumped in the folder defined as "outfile_txt_dir" in the run_elcom.dat file.  These diagnostic files (for example, "volume_elcom.txt" or "tracers_1to5_elcom.txt") are very useful.  But in the new version of AEM3D, those files are gone.  Is there a control in AEM3D that I can set to have those files again while running a model run?  Thanks!

Hi,  these files were removed in the Version 3 ELCOM rewrite.  The text files were never really kept up to date with the code so I was a little hesitant to put them back into the code with out a thorough check.  I am hoping to put some more diagnostic files into the code when I get a chance.

Thanks

Thanks, Chris!
But if I would like to have the information of water volume or the total mass of a tracer in a lake, where can I get the information?
