Hi Chris, all three state variables for viable pathogens (PATH1_VI, PATH2_VI, PATH3_VI) have a minimum concentration of 10.0 throughout the model domain over the course of a simulation. Setting the minimum allowable biomass parameter (1e-2 -> 1e-4) in the Miscellaneous sub-section of the Biological Configuration section of the configuration file (*.con) has no effect. Any ideas what's causing this and how to rectify?

Hi Jose,

I've just checked the CAEDYM code and there is a hardcoded limit of 10

REAL(realG), SAVE :: minPathConc(pathg) = 10.0

I'm not sure why Matt would have put this in.  We're not really using or supporting the CAEDYM component any longer and are recommending people move to the water quality module if possible.

Chris
