Model stopping (not closing or producing an error) when drafttube is turned on

To who it may concern.

I'm having an issue where aem3d is stopping at some point during the model run. As mentioned in the title the model is not erroring out but just stops advancing through the steps. This has only started to happen when I turned on the drafttube module. There does not appear to be much of a pattern to this sometimes the model making it 10% through the run and other times 50%.

I've tried these runs on two computers now and it happened both times.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi David,

Does the model continue to use CPU?  It may be stuck in a while loop.

Can you send me your configuration (minus any output files) and I'll have a look.

Hi David,

The cell you have your draft tube at is becoming less deep than the depth of the draft tube and the model was getting stuck in a while loop.

I've modified the latest development code to print a warning about this and ignore the mixer when this happens but it may be best to move your draft tube into a deeper cell.
