The aem3d_openmp.exe is compiled with the OpenMP parallel processing directives included and should be used when multiple threads are available.
The non OpenMP code will only run with 1 thread no matter the value of nthreads in run_aem3d.dat but will run quicker than the open mp code using 1 thread.
