Hi Chris,

for a lake with groundwater inflow/outflow, I have defined several boundaries as flow_bottom. two questions:

1. What keyword should be used in the header for groundwater inflow/outflow data? does INFLOW and OUTFLOW work for groundwater boundaries too?

2. If a groundwater boundary acts as inflow and changes to outflow in time (due to water level change), what would be the best way to do it? Does a negative inflow under the same boundary code and header do the job?

Thanks, Behnam

Bottom boundaries operate the same as other flow bc and  INFLOW and OUTFLOW work the same.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by part 2 but you cannot have 2 flow conditions on one bc.

If you want to maintain the same water balance after adding ni the groundwater you will need to either add the same flow to an existing outflow or add an additional outflow.
