Hello,

I am trying to model a lake system has (2) two lakes that is separated by a few waterfalls. The first lake and second lake are connected, but have a water elevation difference of 31 feet. Is there a way to model this as the same model, or do I have to separately model them?

The way I would do this would be to set them up together in the bathymetry file but have them disconnected by land cells.

Then use the dynamic boundary condition feature to specify the flow rate between the two basins based on the simulated height.  You will also need a dynamic bc for scalars as well.

Thanks for the reply!

Is there a way to input varying water level heights?
