Hello,

I am trying to simulate the effects of recirculation on a lake's water quality. Basically, there will be an intake that will draw water from one part of the lake and discharge it into several different locations of the lake. I have not seen any ways to do this at the moment, besides doing an outflow at the intake and then multiple inflows where the water is supposed to reenter the lake.

If there is no other way to simulate, and I have to go with the inflow/outflow method, I was wondering how this affects the water quality of the lake? Will the outflow be discharging the water quality of the lake, and the inflow be putting in whatever water quality parameters I give it? Is there anyway to tie these two items together, like a withdraw return, that will use the current water quality of the lake to use as the water quality of the inflow?

Have a look at the dynamic boundary condition section of the manual
